I started class with Chris last fall looking for more energy and better sleep. I got that and more: I feel great.
An avid coffee-drinker, I no longer need coffee to ‘wake up’ and my food choices are much more well-informed as to nutrition, organics, and avoiding un-healthy food additives.

I WANT EASY. I am the type of gal that used to eat pizza seven days a week, not only because I love pizza but because I could come home from work and just pick-up a phone and order it.
My diet consisted of pizza, ice mochas and wine. Not very nutritious for a massage therapist seeing over 25 clients a week. I know the importance of eating right and understand the connection between the food we eat and the inflammation in our body. I would often talk about this to my clients.
I don't like to be a hypocrite and or recommend things to my clients without trying them first. So when I started feeling really sluggish and tired I went to Chris for help. She was awesome and, in fact, made the start of my journey to better health easy. She listened to my concerns, understood my busy work schedule and gave me the support and tools I needed to succeed. I did my first lymphatic cleanse March of 2012, followed by a 21 day step down program which included more greens in my diet and less gluten. The switch to gluten-free was easy and I felt more energized throughout the day and had improved mental clarity. As an extra bonus I even lost twelve pounds, eight of which I was able to keep off for over a year.
Moving forward into 2013 I experienced many challenges and heartbreaks that caused me to seek "comfort" in my old favorite foods. The tiredness came back, I gained the twelve pounds back, and I felt constantly bloated. I went to Chris and we came up with a plan. I just completed my second lymphatic cleanse followed by a ten day cleanse and I am again feeling great. My energy is back and I am no longer feeling bloated. And I lost the eight pounds again.
It is amazing how aware you become about what you put into your body and the effect various foods have on you as you go through this program. And the great thing is that Chris is always there answering questions and addressing your concerns. The biggest realization for me was learning how addicting sugar is and on top of that, how much sugar is in everything we eat.
As Chris says, everyone's journey is different, and you need to approach this type of lifestyle change with excitement and hunger for a better you and trust that when you get anxious or feel like you want to quit, Chris will be there to help pull you through and be your cheerleader. And I am happy to report that I have switched my ice mochas to green smoothies.

My husband and I were cynical when we first decided to take part in Chris’s recommended cleanse. We were pleasantly surprised to find many more additional positive side effects than she originally described. We both felt great throughout the week, with more energy, and few hunger pangs.
And the food was way better than we expected. We (and our kids) especially like the Khichadi recipe and will be serving it as a healthy substitute for mashed potatoes to our family. The green smoothies reminded me of a healthy gazpacho or liquid salad. The ghee was even more palatable than expected.
My husband especially enjoyed the unexpected benefits of the cleanse as his sinuses cleared up and his sense of smell returned and his bad allergies went away.
The week went by very fast and we look forward to doing a longer two week cleanse for even more benefits in January!

I've always eaten what I thought were relatively healthy foods, but had no idea how the food I was eating was affecting me. After going through the one week detoxification, I was amazed how good I felt. My energy level went up, the swelling in my legs disappeared (not realizing my legs were swollen before), and the aches and pains I was feeling in my low back, knees, and feet were gone. This was a great start, but the most benefit I received was what I learned in the following weeks. After completing the detoxification, Chris began to introduce foods back into my diet to determine what was right for me. I was amazed at how different foods had very different effects. Foods that I thought would be good (even some fruits and vegetables) would bring my pains back or bring my energy level down. Learning what foods have adverse effects allows me to make better decisions of what I put in my body and know what possible consequences I may face if I decide to make a poor decision.
